Highland Ridge Farm is a highland cattle breeder from Oak Hill, OH. The owners, Zach & Emily Peters, opened this small farm in 2020 and offer registered and non-registered Scottish highland cattle and beef. This breeder is a member of the Midwest Highland Cattle Association (MWHCA), an organization focused on promoting and improving the Highland breed.

If you decide to get a calf from Highland Ridge Farm, you will need to pay a non-refundable $500 deposit to reserve the animal. 2. Rockin’ G Ranch Miniature Highlands

Located in Wakeman, Ohio, this small and family-owned farm raises and sells miniature Scottish highland cows and some crosses (Highland/Dexter and White Park). They are members of the International Miniature Cattle Breeder’s Society and Registry (IMCBR) and offer several calves a year for sale. 

IMCBR is an organization focused on promoting responsible breeding practices, transparent exchanges, and helpful information to the miniature cattle industry. 

Rockin’ G Ranch weans their calves at 4-6 months and handles them regularly – they do not bottle feed them. They offer health guarantees and deworm and vaccinate the calves. 

In case you decide to get an animal from them, you will need to pay a 25% non-refundable deposit to reserve your miniature calf. Payments can be made via PayPal, in cash, check, or money orders with the full sum paid 14 days before the cow/calf leaves the farm. They do not transport their animals but might assist you with finding a delivery service.

3. Winding Brooke Mini Ranch

Winding Brooke Mini Ranch is another miniature Highland cattle breeder from Ohio. This family-operated business is located in Seaman, OH, and focuses on breeding and selling miniature Highland and Highpark cattle. 

Their goal is to raise thick-bodied, short, compact, and cows full of fluff.
