Located in Montpelier, Ohio, Millermeade Farm’s Critter Connection is a hedgehog and dormice breeder, seller, and educator. The owner is Gail Miller and they started the farm in 1997 with just 3 hedgehogs. 

The farm breeds year-round and often has hedgehog babies available for Christmas – remember that it’s their busiest time of year and that hedgehogs are not recommended as Christmas gifts. They keep a waiting list and require a $25 dollar deposit on the animal to give you priority in selecting a hoglet – your deposit is later deducted from the hedgehog’s total price. 

The breeder offers a shipping option via airline for orders of 6 hedgehogs or more and an opportunity to deliver the animal to you ($50 per hour of drive time (one way) with a minimum of $150). Millermeade Farm also offers a Pick-from-3 discount plan where you have the opportunity to choose a baby from a group of 3. 

They accept payments in VISA/MC, and full payments via PayPal for an additional $10 advance paperwork charge per hedgehog. They do not accept personal checks not offer payment plans. When paying in cash, you get a $5 discount.
